This week we were thrilled to host student-volunteer groups from William and Mary for Alternative Spring Break. With their help, we accomplished so much:
weeded rose beds, covered beds with cardboard (to help prevent weeds) and filled with mulch
major weeding in between greenhouses (basically small trees!)
replaced cooling pads in Greenhouse1
potted perennials for upcoming plant sale
organized tools
cleared our Greenhouse 9 —a huge project!
