on the Farm
Whether you come once or once a week, your help is welcome at Lynchburg Grows! We offer two volunteer shifts: 8:30am-10:30am and 10:30am-12:30pm. Please book your spot 48 hours in advance through our online calendar—we're unable to accommodate drop-in volunteering.
What to Expect
You'll work outdoors or in our greenhouses on tasks like weeding, composting, moving materials, and plant care. Come prepared to get dirty and have fun! Bring gardening gloves, a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy.

Youth: Contact whittney@lynchburggrows.org to schedule. Children under 17 are welcome with an adult. High schoolers interested in regular volunteering should contact Shelley directly.
Accessibility: Contact olivia@lynchburggrows.org to schedule. We welcome volunteers with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person (job coach, family member, etc.).
