Greenhouse 1 (Education)
Greenhouse 1 stands atop our urban farm as a place for education. Inside you’ll find everything from banana and papaya trees to tiers of hydroponics and aquaponics systems that showcase what farming can look like. It’s here that clusters of local school kids often gather around tables to learn how worms are the ultimate composters, or where you’ll find volunteers’ hands caked in dirt as they seed starter trays of vegetables.
