Micha and I were at the Governor’s School in Lynchburg on Wednesday where students are working on decoupage artwork inspired by Lynchburg Grows. When the pieces – which look pretty slick – are finished, we’re going to find some high-traffic areas around town where they’ll get the a good look from the community. We’ll also be taking bids on the pieces, whose proceeds the students have pegged for donation to LG. As a side note, Nikki Bailey and Tim Kimble, Rustburg High School Juniors (both Gov. School kids we met on Wed.), had off today from RHS for Lee-Jackson Day and showed up at the farm this afternoon (it was hovering in the low 60s, I think) to move some compost into a bed in Greenhouse #1. Many thanks. – Aaron Lee
